Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the fourth most-played video game on Steam
The latest video game by From Software, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice becomes the fourth most-played game on Steam with 125,000 players playing the game simultaneously. From Software is the studio behind the immensely successful Dark Souls series. The Souls series have become a watermark for all gaming where difficulty is concerned. They also produced Bloodborne.
When considering single player games, becoming a fourth most-played video game is a huge achievement. The same cannot be said for multiplayer games. For instance, CS:GO is still pulling in around 600,000 players and sitting at being the third most-played game on the platform.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an action-adventure video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Activision. The game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 22, 2019.
Sekiro is the spiritual successor to Dark Souls 3. It follows the adventures of a ninja, Sekiro. Sekiro is set in a very real Japenese era of Sengoku period. It was a time of endless conflict and political upheaval. Sekiro is a ninja who is betrayed by a samurai.
