Google Pixel 3 Users Claims: Photos Aren't Getting Saved.
Google launched Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on October 18, 2018. It is famous for its nice shooting, taking great shots while being in simple mode. You can check out the full review of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL as a nice Smartphone. However, an issue has been reported by different users using the smartphone. The issue that has been recorded is for the camera. That camera is not saving some of the shots that users shoot.
The issue comes when taking pictures from the Pixel 3 Camera and then switching to another application or locking the phone. Some users are saying that instead of the photo a thumbnail appears in the gallery after taking the photo. However, when they select the photo, it just disappears.
One of the Google Pixel 3 users described the issue as:
“ After taking a photo, a small thumbnail of the photo appears on the side of the Camera app, which also serves as a shortcut for the camera’s gallery. But when the user opens the Google Photos app, the photo isn’t there. Upon returning to the camera app, the photo’s thumbnail disappears before their eyes.”
One of the users claims that images went vanishing due to some sort of bug. And it is not getting recoverable through rooting or developer access.
ISSUES NOT LIMITED TO PIXEL 3!
It appears that the issue is not limited to Pixel Phones only. Omega 192 is a Nexus 5X user and is experiencing the same Bug. So, the issue is getting widespread across the Android phones as opposed to only on the Pixel Phones. Some of the Users of Moto Z2, Moto E4, and Galaxy S9 are also reporting the same bug.
The bug is related to HDR or what it is not confirmed till yet because Google hasn’t responded to the problem yet. As Google will respond to the issue, we will come back to you with the update. Till then let us know about your experience with the smartphone.
